Camryn's first day of Preschool

Alright so it has been months since I last blogged. Sometimes I feel as though it is a waste of time, because I know the only person reading my blog is Crista. Thanks Friend!!! Okay, updates... I am now 8 months pregnant. Only 7 more weeks to go. I am having a scheduled C-Section on Nov 3. For those who don't know I am having another girl! YAY!!! We are thinking about the name Jessica April! Brad loves that name. :)
Camryn started preschool on Monday Sept 14th. She seems to really enjoy it, and Brad and I know it is really good for her to get out and interact with other kids her age. She told me today that she does not like boys... "well.. I like Bruce, Dad... I guess I like grown up boys" I thought it was precious. She also told me today that her teacher is calling her "Camry" instead of Camryn. It bugs her. I wonder if this is going to be a problem we are faced with through out her life. I hope not!!

Okay, So I have to vent for just a moment.... "Just a Moment".... Brad, Camryn and Myself went to Swiss days, and I love it, However.. I always seem to forget how over priced the crafts are, and what a head ache it is with all the people, not to mention incredibly hot. I am getting side tracked.. Anyone who has ever been there knows that there are shuttles that take you to and from the parking lot.
When we were loading on to the shuttle to go to Swiss days It of course was full. "Everyone knows you give up your seat for old people, and PREGNANT WOMAN right..." Manners people.. I was standing there, and at first nobody was going to offer me their seat. I was irritated. Here I am with my 4 year old, and my huge pregnant belly. Nobody said or did anything. Finally and " OLD MAN" stood up, and offerd me his spot, but instead a woman was like " no, take mine" I couldnt believe it. There were a lot of men younger on the shuttle, and not a word. Not even a look in my direction! It was terrible. Where are peoples manners I thought.
On the way back to our car we of course had to get back on the shuttle, and again same problem there Brad, Camryn and myself are standing in the middle of the walk way, holding onto the poles, and not a word. Nobody said, "Here ma'am take my seat".. I stood there the whole time irritated looking at this woman with her 19-21 year old son as they sat in their seats. I again thought to myself, "Lady, no wonder your son does not have manners. You obviously did not teach him"!
I just do not understand why parents are not teaching their children manners. If anyone can answer this question for me I would appreciate it.

April

This was the first Easter that we have had that Camryn actually knew what was going on. However, she was under the impression that Easter was going to be like Christmas. Whenever we went to the store and walked down the town isle she would point to everything, and say " I want that for Easter.. I want that for Easter, and that... oh and that "!~ I had to explain to her that the Easter Bunny was not like Santa. We painted Easter eggs the Thursday before Easter, and that was a lot of fun. Camryn got a BIG kick out of it.. She took her time, and thought about how she wanted to decorate it. She got upset with Dad ( Brad ) when he dipped one of the Easter Eggs in two differnt colors... But it was so much fun! We all enjoyed ourselves!
Easter Morning Camryn woke up to find her Easter Basket and was THRILLED.. Lots of spring toys, silly putty, bubbles, Candy... And of course the Chocolate bunny! We went to Breakfast with Great Grandma Algie, Papa Mike ( Brad's dad) Brad, Camryn and I!
Now on Thursday we are getting ready to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and I am so excited. I have never been to Mexico. I am most excited to lay by the pool and eat the delicious fruit I keep hearing about! When I get home I will blog all about it!

Our trip to Marco Island, Florida

Last week Camryn and I flew to Florida for my friends birthday. I was so excited, but also stressed and worried about how Camryn would do with flying on a air plane for the first time. So Wed morning last week we had to wake up, and get to the airport at 5:30am. Camryn was not at all happy about that, but once we got to the airport she seemed to do much better. Everything was easy up until we had to go through security. It freaked her out!! But we managed and got to our gate with hardly any problems. We boarded the plane, and Camryn was THRILLED!! It put a huge smile on my face to see all the excitment she had. Once we arrived in florida our trip was a lot of fun, However Karlie ( My friend's daughter) and Camryn fought all the time. I really believe that it was just the age difference Karlie is 2 and Camryn is 3 1/2. Also 3's are A LOT worse than 2's. Dont believe people when they say watch out for Terrible 2's. It is actually Terrible 3's.!!!
We spent a couple days at the beach, and that was a lot of fun. Camryn loved seeing the Ocean, and I loved watching Camryn play in the sand, and Try and make sand castles. It was adorable.
Alicia and I had a great time. We went out to dinner with the girls to celebrate Alicia's birthday, and Alicia's mom got Alicia a limo for the night. It was very memorable!!!
I was happy when are trip was over and we got to go home, and sleep in our own beds. There truly is no place like home!

Talent Show

Over the weekend Camryn told Brad and I that she wanted to do a talent show, and invited us into her room to preform for us. So we sit down, and she is all ready for the spot light. She had her Hannah Montana microphone that sings, " Best of both Worlds" when you hit the button. Before she begins she runs into her walk-in closet and says " You ready guys" and we reply "Yes" She runs out all preformance like with the song already playing and danced all around the room. Then Camryn decided she needed something else for her talent show, and put on her Bumble Bee costume from Halloween '08 and my huge red high heel shoes. It was adorable!
Afterwards she interviewed daddy, and asked him questions about Sleepying Beauty and Peter Pan. ( Can you tell my daughter loves Disney movies)

Cookies By Camryn

On Thursday night Camryn and I decided to make some Delicious Cookies, and Of course Camryn wanted to help mommy. She is such a cute little baker. Before we started she ran into her room and grabbed her apron, and had me put it on her right away. That is very important for any baker to have their apron.. :) The cookies turned out awesome, and I was so proud of my daughter. We should go into business, and call our company " Cookies by Camryn". What ya think?? :)

Crista and Baby Trenton! I love you two.. Wish we could have spent more time together, but You are just way too popular for me...

We went down to Lake Havasu City, Arizona over the weekend, and had such a good time. We spent time with our Family, and my friend Crista. It was beautiful down there. I loved the weather. It was such a disapointment to come back to Salt Lake to crappy weather. I can't wait for spring.

While we were there we spent a lot of time doing absolutely nothing, eating, being lazy and being around ones we love. Crista's little boy Trenton, I call him " Baby Trenton" Is getting so big. He looks a lot bigger than a 3 mo. old. But I love him, and couldn't get enough kisses from him, although he was kinda grumpy when I got there. Crista had been eating a lot of spicy foods, and Poor Trenton was feeling it. :( Lay Off the Mexican food Crista.. LOL
Camryn of course was getting spoiled by Papa Mike, and when we got there at 3am Brad and I crashed, and were informed the next morning that Papa Mike gave Camryn a Twix at 3:30am, ( needless to say Camryn wasn't sleepy because she slept the whole 8 hr drive) Brad and I were thrilled the next morning when Camryn ratted papa out...
While we were there it was Valentines day, and Brad gave me a beautiful Ring from Tiffany's I absolutely love it. It is just a silver band. I have wanted one forever. Thank you Brad. We spent the day down by the lake had a " picnic" Kinda.. we just grabbed food from In & Out Burger, and sat and people watched. People in Havasu can be very interesting. Lots of old people, and their dogs. But I had a very good Valentines day.

My Beautiful daughter Camryn

This is Camryn she loves Disney princesses especially Belle, and Sleeping Beauty, playing dress up, as you can see in the photo above. She went into her room, and found everything and decided to put on, and play that way. She needed accessories so went and found her bows one for her head another for a necklace and of course one for a braclet. I love her belly laugh, her beautiful blue eyes and " strawberry blond hair". She says that is isn't red, and if you say it is she will strongly disagree. Either way I love her red/strawberry blond hair. Someone once told me that red hair, and blue eyes are rare. I wouldn't know that! When I was pregnant I knew almost with 100% certainty that Camryn was going to be a girl. Brad and I were thrilled!! However, I wish Brad and I would have been able to be married a little longer than one month before finding out I was pregnant! :) But It worked out, and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't change it for the world. Camryn loves her blanket blue, watching movies ( Disney), spongebob squarepants,apple juice, her pj's. Camryn has this Disney CD that has songs from movies on it, and she will listen to it nonstop if Brad and I would allow it, but after the 5th time listening to the same song we have had enough and have to change it, but she honestly knows every word in the song Belle sings, and it is absolutely adorable. Her cute little voice when she sings melts my heart. I love it!
She once came up to me, and said" You are the best mom in the whole sea" :) I would have to agree :)
We are planning a trip to Florida in March, and Mexico in April so we went and got Camryn her first passport and she felt " So Big" the picture turned out great. She was so adult like just stood there like a good girl and took her picture. Brad and I were so proud. She is mainly excited to fly in the plane, but she informs me that it is going to be loud, but she is going to look out the window and look for dad when Her and I fly to Florida for my best friend Alicia's Birthday.

Finally a blog!

Okay so I finally decided to just go for it,and create a blog. I Figure I wont have much to talk about, and that has been whats keeping me from " taking the plunged" and going for it. However, I am Katie, and I am sure I can come up with lots of pointless things to talk about on here. I normally have lots of pointless questions and thoughts in my head that only Alicia can really relate to, but I am just going to put it all out there for the whole world to read.
Now I love to people watch it can be really amusing at times. If you haven't ever done it i suggest that you do. Just sit down somewhere anywhere really. Brad really loves to people watch at the state fair you can find some of the most out there, crazy, most oblivious people... not to mention the Mullets. Brad will actually keep track of how many mullets he sees, and I am not taking little mullets I am taking Billy Ray Cyrus mullets back in the early 90's. Don't people realize that mullets are ridiculous,and the most hideous hair style out there. How can anyone honestly go into a hair stylist and say, " You know I think I am going to go with the mullet today?" C'mon people! We are now in the 21st century.
Another thing you might not no about me is my hate for popping knuckles, or popping of anything on the body. It FREAKS the crap out of me not to mention totally and completely disgusts me. I would rather go to the gynecologist then sit and listen to someone pop their knuckles.
One last thing about me is I am awesome! Hands down the coolest girl I have ever met. I can hang out and drink like the guys, be sweet and innocent like a school girl and party like Paris Hilton... LOL not really!! I like to think that I am your normal 24 year old girl. I love my family and my friends they are so important to me. I have a beautiful daughter who is the love of my life. At times she can drive me nuts like the time she painted my husbands car with the pink pant that was left in the garage from when I painted her bedroom, and looked at Brad and I like " I just thought dad wanted a pink car" Then told us " I sorry" and still to this day brings up the day that she wanted dads car pink. But promises she will never do that again!
